This is the second Model Horse, owned by Megan Stratton of Georgia. Click photo to view the finished product from all angles.
Megan started by getting together the photographs of the subject. Then she located an artist that could execute the intricate, difficult brindle coat pattern. She selectected painter Julie Graves. One of the intensive decisions Megan had to make was the choice of the equine model that best represented the live horse. This project was started in the summer of 2002, and completed in the summer of 2003.
